Changing diet could cut 40 per cent of cancers | Metro.co.uk
The Metro Reports
“Almost 40 per cent of cancer cases could be prevented by changing diet from red meat and alcohol to fruit and vegetables. A major study from the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) found that an estimated 39 per cent of 12 major cancers could be prevented by adopting a healthy lifestyle.”
Yvonne Bishop-Weston Nutritionist London says “It’s so tragic that so many people are suffering and dying horrible deaths due to insufficient nutrients and dysfunctional immune systems due to poor diets.”
“There will always be those who choose to abuse their bodies with poor food choices, alcohol and smoking but for everyone elase is to insure the information is always there to make an informed choice”
“Too many lunchtime and snack options have no ingredients listings let alone nutritional information. Consumers should avoid retailers who keep tight lipped on the cheap low quality ingredients they use and the nutritional value. They obviously have something to hide.

A new face for AlphaToGo

A new face for AlphaToGo
One of our most loyal Alpha customers, Steve Wood, has just revamped his entire Web site with Alpha Five. And his site is so impressive, I wanted to share it with you.
Before he came across Alpha Software, Steve had developed applications in several other languages, but was completely unfamiliar with Alpha Five. He was looking for a “solid, well-rounded platform” to build a new consulting business and leave his full-time job.
Thanks to Alpha Five, Steve now runs his own consulting business, AlphaToGo. He’s also created a video about the Web site, so take a look. Just click on the see the video example titled “Overview.”
This is just one more story of a developer who bought Alpha Five, built a database, and ended up with a highly successful custom software business.
As I’ve said before, that’s just one more way Alpha fits with the current economy message. And it’s good news for those who’ve recently been laid off and are considering consulting, but are afraid they don’t have the technical skills the industry demands. With Alpha Five, you CAN do it. Now’s the best time to start your own business, and we’ll be right here to help.
